This project is a large addition to an existing elementary school in Miami Lakes, Florida. The program called for 5 new classrooms, a cafeteria, a kitchen, music and computer labs, and a media center. A walkway aligned with an existing corridor is covered with an exposed concrete double curved roof with random openings glazed in stained glass.
