An architects portfolio, website, record of work, must, necessarily, deal with the built environment, the things we build in wood, glass, and stone: the things we make for a long time. But it is important to me to recognize equally the people that influence, use, and inhabit the work I do. Because without them, you have sculpture. Something maybe beautiful or moving or cathartic, but uninvolved with the idea of living. So, I want to celebrate, to the extent it happens, the ability of my work to make people feel better. Click on the various buildings in the list to see the work but don't be surprised to see as many pictures of people as building. It's what's important to me.
